How to export Bank of Montreal (BMO) transactions to CSV
Step-by-step instructions to download your transaction history for use with Prosperi.
Steps
- 1Access your BMO online banking portal
- 2Choose your account from the account list
- 3Find and click the "Download" option located above your transaction history
- 4Specify your desired date range
- 5From the "Download format" dropdown, choose "Spreadsheet (CSV format)"
- 6Click the "Download" button to export
- 7Save the file to your Desktop or chosen location. The file will include a ".csv" extension
- 8We recommend you rename the file indicating the type (credit, chequing etc) and the date range for organization
Pro tips
- โข Download 3โ6 months of data at a time for best results.
- โข Make sure to select "CSV" format (not PDF or QFX).
- โข Rename the file with the account type and date range (e.g.
td-chequing-2025-01.csv) for organization.
